The purpose of this poster is to encourage males to join the war. I think this poster would be effective, because it makes people feel guilty about not joining.

I think that able-bodied males in the public would feel kind of ashamed and cowardly by looking at that poster and knowing that other people like him are getting killed for their country, and here he is showing no loyalty towards their home. I also think that he would get disgraced by the public who are not able to go to war.

I think the purpose of that poster was to get more volounteers. It would be pretty effective because you would think that you're the only person in town who hasn't gone to war and you would feel ashamed.

I think the poster worked, because maby some of your frends where fighting so it would work.
